Rossana Alalú

Rossana Alalú

Rossana Alalú is a Peruvian director, screenwriter, and producer. After an academic journey marked by several degree programs before discovering her true calling, she found in Audiovisual Communication the ideal space to develop her interest in cinematic storytelling and directing actors, an aspect she considers the fundamental axis of her films. During her studies, she made the short film "1, 2, 3… digan chiiis" (2004), screened in Peru, Argentina, and Spain, and later directed the medium-length film "Ego" (2007), selected for the Short Film Corner at the Cannes Film Festival. She later earned a Master's degree in Film from Goldsmiths College, University of London, and upon returning to Peru, combined advertising production with the development of fiction projects. Her work reflects her interest in telling her own stories and contributing to the consolidation of a diverse and sustainable Peruvian film industry.
