Daniel Tan Wen Long

Daniel Tan Wen Long is a Singaporean filmmaker who explores everyday experiences, struggles and relationships through unconventional perspectives across different genres. He holds a Diploma in Digital Film and Television from Temasek Polytechnic (2020) and a BA (Hons) in Film from LASALLE College of the Arts (2026), where he majored in Editing and Sound Design. He also specialised in Cinematography during a semester at De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde in the Philippines. He was the producer and director of photography for Lintasan (2026), which screened at the inaugural Objectifs Short Film Festival. A two-time Mapletree Young Filmmakers Initiative recipient, he wrote and directed Portrait (2025), which won Bakunawa Fest 12's Grand Jury Prize, and Let Me Change Your Mind (2026). He also directed Wet Cigarettes (2025), which won Best Directing at ADM Film Rush.
