D.K. Lawhorn is a filmmaker and author based out of Central Virginia with his legion of rescue cats. As a citizen of the Monacan Indian Nation, he has deep roots in this area, and his storytelling reflects this connection. He holds degrees from the University of Lynchburg and Randolph College.
