Francesco Giardiello

Francesco Giardiello (born February 2, 1996) is an Italian director. In 2019, he participated in an Intensive Directing Workshop at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia and attended the Framework Master's program in Potenza. He oversaw the backstage of the film The Longest Night of the Year (2021) and graduated in Directing and Screenwriting from the Griffith Academy of Cinema and Television in 2022. In 2020, he founded the Zootropio Cultural Association, through which he produced the short film Il Cigno in 2023. Distributed by Pathos Distribution, the film was officially selected at several Italian festivals (including the Social World Film Festival and the Lucania Film Festival) and is currently available on WeShort. In 2025, he wrote and directed the short film Showtime, produced by NewGen Entertainment and Zootropio with the support of the Film Commission Torino Piemonte, currently distributed by Pathos Distribution.
