Mark Lupino was an actor and theatre company producer, known for his roles in 'The King's Highway' (1927), 'Pop' (1927) and 'Tallyman' (1928). The youngest of three brothers, (Barry and Stanley) he was the uncle of film actress and director Ida Lupino, as well as the cousin of the equally hugely successful stage star and film comedian Lupino Lane. He married the actress Mildred [Gordon] Coles. Whilst serving in the First World War, he was gassed. He died in 1930 at the age of 41 after a brain operation, possibly connected to the effects of being gassed.
