Osvaldo Sánchez

A Mexican film and theater actor with more than two decades of experience on stage and a solid acting background that has established him as a leading performer in the contemporary theater scene. He has spent most of his career in theater, with over 25 years of experience and appearances in more than 70 productions, working as an actor, set designer, and lighting designer. For over a decade, he was a member of the Compañía Teatral del Norte, establishing a solid track record in various theatrical styles. Among his accolades is the award for Best Actor at the International University Theater Festival at UNAM (2011) for the play ‘Arlequino’. Her work in film marks a natural transition following an extensive career in theater. She has appeared in projects such as ‘Loving South’ (2017), ‘My Demons Never Swore Solitude’ (2017), ‘The Town of Cats’ (2018), as well as in recent productions such as ‘Run to Live’ (2024), ‘Pedro Páramo’ (2024), ‘The Devil on the Road’ (2025) and ‘On the Road’ (2025), marking a new phase in contemporary Mexican cinema. Throughout his career, he has been involved in projects screened at national film festivals such as Guanajuato and Morelia, expanding his presence within the film industry. Graduate of the Bachelor's Degree Program in Theater from the University of Sonora, with studies in Graphic Design from the Northwest University, Osvaldo Sánchez Valenzuela is a multidisciplinary artist with experience in acting, music, dance, writing, lighting, and stage design, focusing on projects with a strong narrative and theatrical component.
