Storyline
RISE 136 took place on January 13, 2020, at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan. In the main event, Masahiko Suzuki successfully defended his RISE bantamweight title against Ryosei via fourth-round knockout. In the semifinal, Andrei Haraguchi became the new RISE lightweight champion, knocking out Hideki to also earn a spot in the RISE World Series 2020 tournament.
