Mira (Christine Hakim) must undergo surgery for a malignant tumor. Amid this ordeal, her husband Yohanes (Deddy Mizwar) passes away. Her resilience in the face of life’s challenges is truly put to the test, but Mira endures it with patience. She refuses to be pitied at work, let alone let her children’s issues become a burden. Meanwhile, her illness shows no signs of remission and is actually becoming more aggressive. The slow approach of death and its impact on the patient and those around her form the core of this film.
