A jealous husband (Pegotte), his wife, and a friend are returning from a night of heavy drinking. An argument breaks out and escalates into a fight. Believing he has killed his friend, the husband panics and locks him in a trunk. The trunk is then delivered to the home of strangers in Paris, where the friend eventually wakes up.
