Marta (Anel Wood) and Johan (Johan Joubert) are both trapped in unhappy marriages. Johan, who works as a plumber with his school friend Leo (Solomon Cupido), is married to Anja (Laura-Lee Mostert), who also went to school with them. Anja feels Johan is no longer the ambitious man she once knew and gives him the cold shoulder when he tries to get closer.
